Mariam is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (Registration # 10353). Mariam has a Masters of Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, concentration in health psychology. Mariam is passionate about providing a safe space for you to be your authentic self and to grow into the best version of yourself. She provides individual, couple, and family therapy working from integrative systemic and evidence-based approaches such as psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Schema Therapy, Transactional Analysis, and mindfulness. She specializes in trauma, mood disorders, and complex relational issues. She is known for her ability to create a warm and non-judgemental environment for her clients where they can access their inherent goodness, resourcefulness, strengthens, and experiences. She is honoured to journey with her clients to reach a place where they can thrive and continue to grow. She is bilingual and fluent in both English and Arabic.
