Jennifer meets the CRPO requirements for clinical supervisors.
Jennifer is a trauma-informed therapist who provides a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where faith is welcomed and explored if desired. She works primarily from a client-centred approach where relationship is viewed as the key component of healing. She also draws from polyvagal theory, family systems theory, body-based/expressive trauma techniques, and cognitive behavioral therapy to deepen understandings of how life experiences, adaptive nervous system responses, and core beliefs intersect. Her goal is to encourage clients to be empowered to make desired changes in their lives and find hope for a new way forward.
She works with individuals aged 16 and up who struggle with various challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, anger, life transitions, relationships, and spirituality. Jennifer works at our Main Office at 804 Greenbank Road as well as our Kanata office. She has been a part of the CCO team in various capacities since 2015 and took over as Clinical Director in April 2023.
